HALL RENTAL

Need a hall for that special event, occasion or party? We have just what you need. Our hall is convenienly located and attractively priced.

Booking for the upstairs hall for Monday to Saturday evenings are now available.

The 'UPSTAIR' is approximately 65' X 30' and has a legal capacity of 180 persons. When the tables and chairs are set up for a dinner, the hall can accommodate approximately 210 persons. A small stage is in the center with enough room to set up your own DJ or small band and there is a private entrance to the hall. Annexed to the hall is a full service kitchen with a gas stove /oven and a large size fridge.

The Vic Affleck/TV Lounge is on the lower level and is available for smaller groups. There is access to a full-service bar in the lounge, where we have a bartender on staff to serve you and your guests. As a general rule, our 'last call' at the bar, depending on which day the function is held, is as posted. Due to provincial regulations, all alcohol must be purchased from our bar.

Should you wish to decorate prior to your event, arrangements can usually be made to allow you early access on the day of your rental.

Reserving of the Branch Upper Lounge and the Quiet Room (Vic Affleck/TV Lounge) is for:

  • Members (ordinary & Associate) for use for events involving their immediate family;
  • Fraternal Organizations;
  • Military/Veterans Associations; and
  • Traditional (those who have traditionally used them in the past) and were approved by the executive.

There will be no granting the use of the premises for commercial endeavours.

Bookings, once confirmed, shall be entered in the calendar of events controlled by the Manager.

There will be no charge for the use of the Vic Affleck room (donations will be accepted).

The user is responsible for any damage to the facility.

Groups using either area are restricted to that area (save for the use of canteen/washrooms) unless a member of the branch or have been signed in as a guest of the Branch.

No outside foods, snacks or beverages are to be brought in without prior approval of the canteen operator or the branch manager.

DEPOSITS

  • Refundable Damage Deposit - $500.00
  • Non Refundable Deposit of $100.00 is required when booking - (counts towards rent)

REFUND CONDITIONS

  • Tables & chairs put back to original configuration
  • Tables cleared and garbage removed
  • Kitchden & equipment left in condition it was found
  • Decorations taken down
  • No damage has been detected
  • No rowdiness was allowed

Rent includes - Bartendar (1), Ice, Cups/Glasses/Mix.

Renters may make arrangements for their food. Legion Caterer is available – Must make own arrangements with Legion caterer.

The kitchen has two (2) electric stoves but no fridge.

Groups using the upper hall are restricted to that area unless a member of the Branch has signed them in as Guest.

The Legion reserves the right to cancel any event by giving sufficient written notice (7 days).

Additional service fees and/or ancillary expenses, if any, are determined at the time of signing of a contract.
